Regarding immunization, Mehanna, Ali, and Kharboush (2020) found that only 41% of reproductive-age women in Alexandria received the tetanus toxoid vaccine in their last or previous pregnancies, largely due to limited awareness. These findings collectively highlight the urgent need to strengthen antenatal education programs in Egypt to improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes.Limited knowledge regarding antenatal care among pregnant women has been linked to adverse maternal outcomes.
