5 lb of grain cereal rye Seed. Clean fresh seed. This is bulk seed and will not come in seed packets or come with instructions. I have other amounts of seed listed as well as different varieties. Cereal rye can be used as a grain like wheat, also makes a great food plot, cover crop or to be used for grazing or to bale. Cereal rye is planted early in the fall to overwinter just like wheat and will have explosive spring growth. Stays green through the winter and makes an excellent winter cover. I use Diatomaceous earth in seed to protect it from insect infestation. DE is safe for human consumption and the DE I use is food grade, but protects it from insects. It is a light grey powder and some may be in the seed.
